The Hovey Companies developed, built and is general partner owner of Looking Glass Meadows, a 64-unit luxury apartment community located at 700 South Bridge Street in DeWitt, Michigan. In order to meet the market demand for luxury apartment living, we built a product that has several amenities found in single family homes. Individual units include cathedral ceilings, central air, generous square footage, two bathrooms, washer and dryer, dishwasher and a microwave oven. Externally, we lowered the unit density on the property to allow for more green space, provided picnic tables and grills in the common areas to promote social and recreational activities and installed carports for vehicle protection. By being able to assess market trends and demands, we were able to put the right product in the right place.
